A message from Dr. Benny Soileau, Superintendent of Huffman ISD:
“All five campuses have met the academic standards established by the Texas Education Agency in 2013. Huffman ISD prides itself on instilling strong character values in our students through academic instruction and extra-curricular participation. We strive to have our students prepared to contribute to society by providing a high standard of instruction and offering a variety of learning opportunities that create well-rounded students while meeting the changing needs of the 21st Century Learner.
“Beginning in 2014, we will participate in District 10AAAA for football and in District 23 AAAA for all other sports and academic competitions. Our district enjoys a high level of extra-curricular participation from our students. We have 14 athletic teams and more than 20 clubs and organizations that give our students opportunities to represent our district while developing skills such as commitment, teamwork, and leadership that will serve them well beyond their time at Huffman ISD.”
